The Still Point Journal (not quite Anglo-Saxon at all!)

PhD research took something of a side-seat last month as I was finishing off the design for The Still Point Journal. After a few hiccups (printing and delivery nightmares more like!!) the journal finally exists, in real life, as an actual object.

You can read it online, or, keep you eyes peeled for The Still Point events across London where the journal will be given away for free. You can also get it posted to you, if you so desire, see the details on The Still Point’s website.

Doing things alongside my research is really important to me, reading over people’s creative responses to their research is inspiring, giving me plenty ideas on how to write about my own work, and thinking about visual layout and photographs, illustrations, and fonts keeps the other side of my brain happy.

Do you do anything alongside your research that indulges your other passions?
